  Pleasant hotel reasonable rates, staff very friendly, WiFi good, basic breakfast muffins coffee cereal. Beds comfy, water hot. Have no problem staying here again

  My friend and I found ourselves in the unexpected position of being snowed in in Morris, MB. We met in Morris for dinner and while we were wining and dining, the wrath of Winter Storm Helen was unleashed upon us. All of the roads were closed and our only option was to stay the night. We arrived at the Stampede in around 11pm and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Our room was comfortable and quiet and by morning, the place was full of stranded travelers. The roads were still closed so we were all just held up in the hotel for the day. There were people from all walks of life and it was really interesting to talk with them. Unlike other places that might raised the prices when people had no other choice, the Stampede Inn actually lowered their room prices to accommodate the desperate circumstances. They even brought in a big ole caldron of tasty soup for everyone! What started as a major inconvenience wound up being a really fun and meaningful experience for me, and it was largely due to the wonderful hotel and staff. I don't often have a reason to be in Morris, MB but I really hope I get the chance to stay here again. My friend and I are grateful for their hospitality and we've now got a great story to tell.

  Decent hotel. Had a musty smell in the lobby and rooms, but the people were nice and served us just fine.

  Best ever room is clean and washroom is nice but the tv is hard to work other than that it's the best.

  The building itself needs a little TLC, but for the most part it did what I needed it to do; give me a place to sleep and store my travel gear. Friendly service, continental breakfast, and cheap.
